But the demand will be low. And people will not have much money to spend. That will create a balance.

That will work with hobbyists. But the main consumers are enterprise sector which buys in bulk.

And with buying in bulk comes entitlement discounts. Purchasing in this way allows the buyer to effectively lower the price to something more palatable.
Lower price does not mean less profit. A small discount but huge numbers mean huge profit.

In big deals, it is mostly a win-win 🙂
